this is ridiculous. ive spent more time on the forums than i have playing games this week, just hoping for some kind of response from a red, or maybe, just maybe some sort of hot fix? But theres been nothing to go off of here, not even an acknowledgement that the problem seems to be too widespread to be an ISP issue.
As someone pointed out in this thread, Riot needs to stop assuming that we will accept cop out excuses because we dont know better. Several factors have already been presented that should make it easy to determine that this is not an internet/hardware issue. First, many users from many areas using many different ISPs are having the same issues. Second, many users are reporting that they are only having this issue playing league of legends, and not experiencing the same problems while playing other things, even streaming while playing these other games. So this is not an upload rate issue.
League of legends is a free to play game but riot is still a for profit, and we are still customers. To ignore a problem and try to cover it up is wrong. Not that this will get a response; and I might even get downvoted; but here is my advice to Riot:
Own up to the problem. Its not your fault. It happens. But acknowledge the issue MIGHT be on your end and that you will look into it. Theres too many factors for people to think that its anything other than a server issue, or a client issue. Once you acknowledge it, do something about it. You guys seem to have a great team to have gotten as far as you have. Finding the issue and working on a fix should be priority. Whats the point of doing anything else when youre alienating a huge chunk of your player base that are having an issue, and cant even play the game? We dont want more champions, we want a hotfix or a patch to this issue. The community has been yelling for help. I hope that this does not fall on deaf ears.
