Zeph looked a little sad as Kyrios left, but he had been gone a while and he would see her and Avalynn later. He smiled towards Cataclysm. "Tsk, now that would be telling." He said with a sly smile. (I have no idea.) He went over and made himself some tea, moving over and sitting next to ... (someone?)

Equiste sighed, drinking some more of his tea and sat back to listen to the conversations around the room. Perhaps now he might get some sleep. He was however curious to what Zeph was up to.

Rayne and Ryan enter the room, they make their way over to the refreshment table yawning and both take some tea, they then sit down on a couch together

A rift had opened with it raised the ambient temperature of the room. Cassandra stepped out with her blood fire concoction active. Each step she toke the carpeting on the floor suffered a burnt foot print, but the fire damage did not spread as if being snuffed out before it could get away from her.

She went over to the tea station and stood there still trying to figure out what she was even doing in the break room. Looking back towards the portal, she turned as if about to move back through it. However, after a moment of hesitation she instead closed the rift and disengaged her defenses.

As the blood receded, she wasn't dressed as she usually was. It would appear as though underneath the blood she wasn't actually wearing anything at the moment. Noticing this she formed a temporary skin tight suit with the darkened blood which was padded around certain parts so that some features wouldn't be accentuated. Cassandra sighed in frustration and loitered around the tea station.

Equiste looked towards Cassandra, not looking too surprised. Though he wondered why she was in the break room. He looked down at his tea cup, swallowing the last of his tea and making his way over to refresh his cup since he never brought a pot with him. As he filled it up he looked towards Cassandra.
"Not exactly what I'd expect someone to be wearing on a break." He said, focusing back down on his cup to make sure it would run over.

Zeph looked around the room, looking slightly bored. "So, what have I missed?"

Rayne looks over at Zeph
"nothing much really...been surprisingly calm lately"

Cassandra's snapped to look at Equiste, as if by a combat instinct one of her palms lit up with a purplish flame. Mid way into a defensive stance she saw that it was Equiste and quickly cancelled her prepared spell. The black runes crept around the outside of her suit. Making a very soft, but sharp laughing sound.

"Oh, Summoner Equiste. My apologies, I had thought you were someone else." She was breathing heavily as if just had an intensive workout. Her hair was still somewhat of a mess and sweat was still running down her face. Her face was that of a soldier caught completely off guard by something. To Equiste it was unclear if it was something she was working on that got free or if it was something else, but all he could see was her alarm.

Zeph looked over at Rayne, tiling his head curiously. So that must of been the person she had talked about the last time he had seen her. "Maybe lately, but I haven't been here in a long while. I've been busy with family relations." He said with a smile. "In fact a really long while." Looks over at Equiste. He never had a mind good for time. "Hey, how long have I been gone?" He asked in his direction.

Equiste didn't react when she almost attacked him. His fault for disturbing her after an experiment really. He just smiled. "Thats fine. My fault. You look like you could use a break." She could feel a request for a secure connection since his own mind was also under his mind defenses. When she accepted the request he broadcasted through the secure link. 'Is everything alright? Do you need any help with anything?' "About two weeks, probably more." He said to Zeph.

Rayne smiles
"has it been that long already? well welcome back"
Ryan's eyes were darting back and forth around the room as if looking for something

Algernon walks in with a summoner. Both were wearing a hood and algernon was speaking with him.


Algernon: "Alright we will talk later I will take care of the problem so don't worry."


The hooded summoner nodded and walked towards the hole in the wall made by the void monster and started fixing it with magic. Algernon walks away and looks around at everyone.

Algernon: "A warning to you all. There has been sightings of a void monster running loose around the institute and has suddenly disappeared so I came here to tell you guys to be careful and if you spot anything like it you are to avoid it at all cost and I want you to report it to me or a champion you trust. Also anyone connected to the void in anyway, will be question thoroughly that is all."

Ryu appears on his spot on the ceiling, looking down at everybody.

Ryu: "Seems like more people are coming here. Good, recently this place has been boring."

He walks over the ceiling until he stands above Equiste and Cassandra. As he stands above them he sniffs, and starts to grin.

Ryu: "What have you guys been up to?"
