I just recently bought Shaco and want to become a boss with him, whats better for jungling and ganks ad or ap?

He is AD, but don't expect to get to play him outside of blind pick he is on perma-ban status at the moment.

I have a friend who plays hardcore AP Shaco.
Everything besides deceive scales off AP so he can do really well as AP.
Those boxes do a **** ton of damage.

Ap Shaco is probably the best.
All his stuff scales off AP except deceive which scales off nothing.
But those boxes do tons of damage and are amazing tools.
So I would suggest you go AP.
It works well on jungling as well with AP boxes.

His boxes got nerfed a while ago... i bought him three days before the nerf, and it ruined my life... now playing trist shacos just not on now

AP shaco is the best, almost always get first blood with those boxes even with the nerf.

in my opinion, ad shaco is the only shaco. you have probably seen several ap shacos dominate in games, but there is one catch. ap shaco requires you to build a nest of boxes. this is literally impossible to do if you are trying to gank. ad shaco unleashes terrifying amounts of damage with a little bit of ad.

AD Shaco is the best Shaco, all that AP Shaco **** is bs.
only way you can do good with AP Shaco is when you have Blitz in your team to pull enemy
towards your boxes. other than that AD Shaco is the way to go

I agree. One of my friends is a dominant Shaco. How does he do it? AD. People just don't fall for the Shaco Box nests anymore. It used to work, "Let me just check in this bu- OH **** | An ally has been slain".. Not anymore.

Then again, there will always be the unconcentrated player who just roams when Shaco has been out of lane for more than 30 seconds.

IMO Shaco is best AD. He can get a level 6 dragon, does much more sustained damage, has more potent ganks and is an all-around better jungler (counter-jungling included)
