Personally, if you're the better player, and you're comfortable with multiple roles, it's your job to fill in around your team, and let the less skilled players play what they can play. In my group of friends that I play with, I'm the "best" player, and I generally play jungle or support. Do I like playing jungle or support every game? No. But forcing my less-skilled teammates to play something they can't play because "LOL **** YOU I'M THE BEST MID OR I FEED" is really, stupidly immature.

If you lose because you force who the game automatically designates as the "weak link" to play something they can't play, I don't feel sorry for you
