Can't get past the launcher

I also am having this issue, on day 3 of it I have reinstalled and reinstalled and repaired and repaired. Now my patcher is going crazy... Please help. Or tell us what to do.

i dont think it's a riot problem, more a computer. I was playing for the past 3 days at my grandparents house, came home 15 minutes later and the exact thing thats being stated above isn't working for me. Im having the same problem on 1 computer, but on the other its fine. :\

I wonder now if its because I don't ever use Internet Explorer and thus have not updated to IE9 that they released just a couple days ago. I am going to try to update and see what happens.

I fixed mine.

Deleting the folder the wrenchman specified, then patching to EU, then back again to NA seemed to work.

I had this, here's how I fixed it (I can't guarantee it'll work for anyone else. I was just trying stuff at random)

First I used the repair option by clicking the cog in the top right corner of the launcher. That didn't fix it but it made the log in screen stay with a generic "This has stopped working/send error report" popup.

(Make sure LoL is closed for this part, both the client and launcher. You should also check the process is ended because mine kept running after the game disappeared)

Then I went to "C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects" and deleted two folders. The first is "lol_air_client" the second is "lol_launcher".

After that I opened the launcher and it redownloaded them. Now it works fine.

You may need to do that exactly, you may need to only do the second part, I honestly don't know. I hope it helps though

The Error seems to an issue with the launcher itself not the client try:
-open start menu
-type cmd in the box
-right click cmd run as administrator
-type in ipconfig /flushdns

- Right click your network icon in the bottom right of your taskbar and go into the Network and Sharing Center
- Click on "Change Adapter Settings" on the left side and then right click your Local Area Network (or Wireless Network) Icon and select "Properties".
- Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties
- Now select "Use the Following DNS Server Addresses" and input "8.8.4.4" as your preferred DNS server.
- Check the "Validate Settings Upon Exit" box and click ok.

I get a RADS error - Could not to connect to HTTP server / Patcher Kernel Stopped Working
1. Close out your game/patcher, hit ctrl+alt+delete and make sure all instances of LoL.Launcher are gone, then restart the patcher process and let it sit.
2. Go to your Riot Games/RADS/System folder under your default install path, and run the rads_user_kernel.exe file, then try starting your patcher.
3. See this article, About changing to a public DNS
4. Replace <install directory>/RADS/system/rads_user_kernel.exe, with this file
5. Try installing, Microsoft Dot NET Framework 4.0 and, Dot NET 3.5

For people still have problems please attach your logs for rads_lol_launcher and rads_user_kernel located here C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS
