Hey everyone! I've decided to run another contest based on the success of my last few (http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=1543059).
* This contest requires you to draw an Amalgamation Champion. That is a Champion comprised of the two or three Champions *
Essentially, you're creating something that features the elements of two or three Champions. An example would be Ashe with Tryndamere's helmet and a bow shaped like his sword. This idea was partially inspired by the Marvel/DC Amalgamation Comics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amalgam_Comics), which should definitely be checked out for some great concepts.
Simply take two or three Champions and mash them together in one great idea! Go wild with your creations, I want to see some awesome stuff!
Prizes: First place will win either a "PAX Jax" skin -or- "Riot K9 Nasus" skin -or- "PAX Sivir" skin added to their account -or- a $20 RP code. Second place will win a $10 RP code -or- a "PAX Sivir" skin. Entries from Europe are allowed, but are only eligible to win the skins (as RP codes from the US don't work on the European servers).
Entries: The entry part of the contest will start now (16 March 2012) and end at 11:59 PM PST on 16 April 2012 (my birthday). You may enter as many times as you want, but you can only win once.
Winners: I will select my favorite 10 from all entries received. Those 10 will be selected by both artistic merit and thematic fit. Then, these 10 will be voted on by the community (in another thread) to determine the first and second place winners. Voting will start approximately a day or two later and will last for one week.
Requirements:
- Create a picture (through any type of medium: pencil, charcoal, paint, CG, digital, sidewalk chalk, glue and glitter, or whatever you want) that depicts an amalgamation of two or three League of Legends Champion into one.
- Post to this thread with your picture attached and post to the General Discussion thread (http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=1920796) to bump it with a comment and/or your submission
- Email me (so I have a way to contact the winner) a copy of the picture and your Summoner name to: StexeContest@gmail.com
What if you're not an artist? Well, try to spread the word! Get your friends interested and convince them to give you their prize!
I'll update this post with the art I receive every so often. But, most importantly... remember to have fun!
Note: When this contest ends, I will be starting a design, art, and lore contest with an unannounced theme, very similar to my previous Champion Creation contest (http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?p=7985696). So, even if you're not an artist stay tuned!
