@Meddler: How does damage reduction work if cast in the middle of a DoT? (ie Exhaust)

I'd like it fixed honestly, I've had allied Vlads and Fizzs die to dots they would have lived through had they recieved my MR auras as Aegis-Soraka.

Had a game last night where a fiora was trapped by ryze as she started her ult, she then continued to ult and ended up trapped at the end but in a different location.
My question is fiora targetable before the first damage hit of her ult (therefore a stun could canccel it at this time) or was she trapped before the ult but close enough to start it.

Cool down duration is determined at the time the spell is cast so getting CDR while a spell is mid CD won't have any immediate benefit for that spell.

Stuns cancel Fiora's ult if you stun during the channel just like they cancel Fiddle's channel. Well it's not really a channel for Fiora. More of a small wind up animation in which she's still targetable.

She'll avoid the damage if she's still mid ult when Absolute Zero goes off.

I remember seeing a video of a Ryze with a Lich Bane auto-attacking the enemy Nexus, which was at low HP. His Lich Bane proc was up, but he died as his auto-attack was in the air and the Lich Bane didn't proc on the attack.

Renekton's W doesn't interact with spell vamp at all - it's attack class damage so benefits from on hit effects like Lifesteal instead.

Say I were playing Janna and I shielded a Cait while after she has already started lining up her ult, will her ulti reflect the increase in ad?

Does this make Fiora quite possibly a super counter to AoE teams? She wrecked my team of Amumu, Ziggs, Nunu, and Kennen. Also, is there a way around that fact?
