I talked to some QA guys - her ultimate is still being looked at internally. From what they've played it makes her ******edly overpowered (and we're not talking versus Nunu Bot.) I can't say exactly what it is, but it's extremely effective and solves a lot of her issues with one ability - which perhaps makes it too good.
That's why we can't give you an ETA - it hasn't even gone into the test realm yet and it needs some more consideration. The QA guy I was talking with was actually trying to trace a pantheon bug while having this conversation with me - they're very busy with upkeep, so please don't get discouraged. With 56 champs in counting, a lot of people feel like it's "just their champion" that gets left behind or forgotten.

Why would they change her ultimate? That is clearly not where the problem is.
She needs her kit entirely reworked, just make her stealth a lower CD/lower duration and change her other abilities to make her spammy and you have a balanced champion (provided you consider Shaco balanced)
