Dunno I beat Maokai's all the time as Mantheon. Just push the lane but don't clump up along with your minions and your forced to either hit me with the sapping or the minions. In a straight up fight mantheon beats Maokai. Also if you play defensively I just take health pack every 30 seconds so I outsustain you.

He's an F'ing tree. What did you expect? Who can possibly stop a tree?? Only lumberjack sion, who i never see.

i have come to prefer maokai up top - his ult is so nice for a team defending a turret, on top of the knockbacks, lockdowns, and saplings.
