Would just using my standard DPS book work? I don't have a critbook or anything.

I run:

Red/ Armor pen
Yellow/ HP Scaling (saving for Dodge here)
Blue/ CDR scaling (probably switching to flat)
Quints Flalt HP

you will see, he have fat hp+hp reg+reistances=he can survive much
but still deals very high dmg

as mundo you need crits..
i tried armor penetration too as mundo..but crit hit chance i like much better

save some ip and buy it i have all kind of runes too..dodge..armor penetration..magic penetration..crit hit chance..crit dmg..hp quints..hp lvl 18..cd reduction

if you want to make out the best of this build you should get crit hit chance

Armor pen, crits and CD is good on mundo so i go for the ghost blade as soon as i can (after Warmhog's of course) because the Active is so awesome for killing towers and you want all the stats it gives.

My build look like this

-Warmhog's Armor
-Boots
-Brutaliser---> Yumu's Ghost Blade
-Atma's Impaler
-Recurve bow and Vampiric scepter
-Turn that into Stark's Fervor
-BF Sword

I really like the Ghost blade because of the CD (almost 30 sec CD on your Ult with CD runes) Dmg + pen and crit with an awesome 20% movespeed and 50% atk speed when needed for destroying towers.

I've played many matches with Amcii. Amcii plays Mundo the best out of anyone I've seen play him. So the build is solid AND he is good with him. I suspect newer players will need to practice to get the most out of the build. This Mundo does well at higher ELO play too not just in scrub rooms.
