The harassment and bullying in this game needs to stop

My arguement rests on the fact that the playerbase would not be large enough to sustain a successful game without being lenient on minor offenses like harassment. I believe this because I've observed the rise of dota/hon/lol over the past seven or so years and the only times a moba type game have embarrassed their more passionate players.

You don't need to harass to enjoy a game. Little back handed comments should be fine, but verbal abuse and harassment shouldn't be accepted.

I love how you say minor offence and harassment in the same sentence. You do realize that harassment is an actual crime in alot of places. Racial slurs and bulling can also be types of hate crimes. When you start to ruin the game for other players because of things you need to be banned end of story. Either you get rid of the bad that makes the good leave or you accept the loss of the good because of the bad. Your going to loss players either way. I prefer it to be the bad that leave.

I love that, you prove my point every time you do something like that. You puff out your chest and act big and tough hiding behind a smurf account...... SO sad. Enjoy the bans in the game and the ass kicking you will receive in life b/c of your horrible attitude.

Jay walking is also a crime is a lot of places. Also, harassment is usually a crime when it is accompanied with slurs, physical contact, stalking, or other excessive actions. It is rare for anyone to classify most instances of harassment in league as even offensive, much less a crime.

Poor play can easily ruin games more than anything said in game. Are you going to argue that anyone who does poorly should be banned? Also, just because you prefer one type of player to another does not mean those players are better for the game. There is a reason why there hasn't been a successful dota-type game with the community which you want.

Also, I highly doubt many people are quitting lol completely from harassment. The level of harassment and flaming has consistently been going down since open beta. One more thing, what the hell are you comparing league to? Have you seen dota 2? People get flamed just for admitting they play league of legends (or using "champions" instead of "heroes"). Can you even name a moba type game which is more newbie friendly?
that's a lie, it's gotten worse over time. people can't play anything except guide-based builds without at least one member of the team starting to harass them. someone dies because their lanemate is farming instead of helping.. the other lanes will call that person noob. i blame high elo. they aren't very good at strategy. great at mechanics, horrible at strat. and all the low elo ppl.. they follow their strat.
