Agreed. Consumers control the markets and keeping your consumers happy/updated is part of good business. Riot has never been and probably will never be good at this part. They clearly don't have their act together or a good plan in place for when things go wrong. Keeping your customers informed is key, not just "no patch, will update later." Then later the only update you get is "still no patch, will update later." When bad customer service comes out usually managers/staff do everything they can to appease/please their customers either via updates or discounts but you won't see riot doing either of these things either.

@RiotRara: I'm curious; how is the patch coming for Hecarim as of right now? Do you feel that it will be released this week or are still trying to tackle issues and might push to have it out by next week?

Just a player curious as to what is happening. If any red's could give insight on this right now that would be appreciated. Good luck with the patch and thanks!

They give discounts every week actually if you haven't noticed I'd suggest actually reading the announcements. In fact there are discounts right now on 3 skins and 3 champs. But like i said complaining here isn't changing
anything, the patch still needs to be released bug free. The patch gave some unexpected bugs, you can't always expect coding to go right the first time every time. I believe I read somewhere that Hecarims mechanics
them self messed up the coding somewhere along the line.

This. Tired of the people saying "they don't owe us anything, the game is free". Yeah, the game may be free, but MANY of us have put plenty of money into the game. Riot gets paid because of us. They do at least owe us the courtesy of keeping us updated as to what the hell is taking so long. One update in seven or eight days is nothing to be "grateful" for.

Where do these people come from? you come on the forums for one reason, to complain. Then don't even have the courtesy to read why the patch was delayed but you take the time to complain about no updates. There have been several updates since the first.

There has been 3 updates over the course of 3 weeks.

I know but my decision over a year ago to stop spending even a dime more on this game did make a difference. Even if its minor they have less paying customers due to my decision and maybe my words here can convince more to follow me and be a smarter consumer and not a fool like you.

I am comparing a stupid consumer that accepts anything thrown at them and begs for more, to a smart one that demands quality for their money.

So Riot screws up and we have no right to complain? The consumers that ACTUALLY spend money on the game. The communication between Riot and us in these times is terrible and we every right to complain.

I know they give discounts, which is in riot points, which still costs money. Its not like they are losing anything or breaking their backs with these "discounts" if thats what you want to call them. Yes they have to make a profit, all businesses do, but they certainly are not discounts (minus skins of course since you can only get them in riot points).

Discounts? Like when stores say "Sale 50% off of $10 items today only" and it was $5.00 yesterday? Yea you are a smart one. Bet you run to the store and buy 2 to get the good deals huh? Poor sheep........
