Galio, the Sentinel’s Sorrow will soon be joining the League with Anivia, his avian brethren. However, I don’t think they’ll make for good friends. Anivia will likely give Galio the cold shoulder and likewise, Galio’s heart is made of stone. Should they team up, however, they could each make for stone cold killers.
Galio can be described as a mage tank. He is very durable while also dealing very high magic damage. He has a few interesting spell combinations that you’ll want to master: Righteous Gust into Resolute Smite or Idol of Durand will help ensure you don’t miss your next spells. Bulwark into any other skill will increase the damage, while specifically chaining it into Idol of Durand will increase your durability so that you won’t die during channeling. One important feature is that Idol of Durand will always do the full base damage regardless of how long you’ve channeled it, so if an enemy is about to escape with Cleanse or you just need to deal some quick damage, you can immediately cancel the skill.
