You ever buy a game you really wish you didn't, very shortly after you did?

I bought Global Agenda. Loved every second of the free trial, hated every bit of the game after I bought it.

Also, Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4 were both completely wasteful purchases as both games crash my computer and all of the servers suck. If you can connect to any servers that is, since punkbuster will kick you for reasons even the people who make punkbuster can't explain.

Overall I wasted $90 on these horrible games.

No offense to the people who enjoy them.

Dark Messiah. Good god that game was terrible even though the demo was fun. Stopped playing because of a bug that made it impossible to progress any farther. Lianna hates you GG.

World of Warcraft.

I no longer play World of Warcraft and haven't for over a year. However, I do not regret in the least the four years I spent on it, and dollar amount that I am unwilling (too lazy) to calculate.

What do I REGRET buying? Well, this may sound like BS, but I really don't regret any of the games I've bought. I am struggling to come up with even one example of a game I bought and then disliked.

Actually, wait. The Witcher. I bought a used copy, so I barely spent any money on it ($10, I think? Maybe it was $20) and I enjoyed the first chapter a LOT. I was really enthusiastic about the game, and it took a turn for the worst in the second chapter. I don't even remember how many chapters the game had, but I wasn't even at the halfway point yet (it is a relatively long game, compared to recent stuff). I just couldn't stand the complete change in gameplay, and it was no longer fun.

Even then, it wasn't a total waste. I definitely enjoyed it for a while. Probably for longer than most single-player games even last these days.

city of heroes.. played it for the free month, then lost interest. Age of conan.. i bought, just to learn none of my comps could handle it lol, that one was my fault tho.

Borderlands. Boring as hell.

Aion

Dragon Age. Meh, too much pausing.

Grim Grimoire. Was a PS2 Nippon Ichi game, and I figured "what the hey, I liked Disgaea, let's try this out!"

**** game. I can still hear those **** elves in their obnoxious voices saying "WHAT'CHA NEED?!?! OKAY!!! WHAT'CHA NEED?!?! OKAY!!!! WHAT'CHA NEED?!?! OKAY!!!!"
