Yes, I agree there are a lot of dumb looking Pokemon in the fifth gen, but there are also a LOT of badass mother****ers as well. Pokemon has always had derpy Pokemon, ever since first gen.

It looks like an emo's fantasy. Yes, it looks dumb. If they wanted a 3 headed hydra, then they should've had it attached on top, not have heads for hands.

Every new pokemon after diamond. I tried black and deleted it when I saw the starters. (Emulator btw)

Ditto is just shapeless. I mean an actual blob that would wrap itself around pokemon or something. And that's just an example suggestion of a basic natural thing they could do. I never understand why people take simple, cool, elemental design philosophies that make for a consistent, realistic, reasonable universe then just suddenly add random **** to it.

I remember I tried watching some anime which seemed pretty cool where everyone had generic elemental type powers up until one point where they introduced a guy whose special ability was to split into a bunch of power ranger dressed pixies. Like, do people actually come up with these things and think 'yeah, that works well thematically'. It's like if LoL introduced a champion that was a stick figure with a trollface who constantly broke the forth wall.
