Seriously, this guy is insanely strong bot lane. I've never played against a mordekaiser lane where I won. He pushes insanely hard, by just pressing E or Q. Also, I always get caught in his E because of its massive range, and it does a crapload of damage. And If I try to 1 vs 1 him, BOOM he ults me and there goes a percentage of my hp while he gets back tons of his. I can't harass him because his sheild is always up from pushing. He has Will of The Acients so he heals even if i can get damage on him

More seriously, there are plenty of champions who counter Morde. My personal favourite is Ryze, but generally you can look in the category of "Sustained heavy damage"; Urgot and Cassio come to mind, as well as most ranged ADs. You won't beat him with poke or slow nuke champions; you need to be hitting him with his shield down consistently. His shield took a heavy nerf a few months back, so it's actually not that easy to get it up. Whittle it down and zone him until late game.

A successful Trollekaiser will wreck almost anyone 1v1 lategame because of his insane burst, but that doesn't mean you can't beat him out early.

Edit: Also, Morde thrives off of pushing champs, since most of his power comes from enemy minions. The best strategy vs. a Mordekaiser is to kill him out of lane and set his farm back.

Nekro's got it right, the best opponent against a bottom lane Morde is someone with a great sustained damage game.

Mordekaiser casts from health unless he has his shield up. Casting grants him his shield though, so once he starts going he's basically casting for free. In addition to this, having spellvamp means that his spells heal him in addition to providing him with a shield. Oh, and the whole point of this is to damage you.

So in the end, one spell does all of the following:
Damage You
Damage your minions
Heal Mordekaiser
Give him/increase his shield
has a net cost of 0

FFFFFFFFFFffffffffffffffffffffff

This is why you can't hope to outsutain a Morde. Plus, you can't outpush him because, as Nekro said, more minions just gives Morde more Metal Power. Your only option is to bully him nonstop and put much less of a focus on minions.
Talon, Graves, Cass, Urgot, and Kog'maw are all the sort of champs who can do this, and many more that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head. And fortunately, it works really well as compared to getting steamrolled with other strategies.

Just try to make sure your team understand that if the enemy has a bottom lane Morde, you need a champ who can keep up the damage pressure on him, or you can kiss your bottom lane goodbye.

People who can deal with Morde:
- Anyone who can push equally hard from a safe distance. (eg. Cass)
- Anyone who can give no ****s and engage him from level 3. (eg. Mundo)

Champs who rely on poke will suck, because Morde has infinite shield, and builds spellvamp as core. Anyone with only average range will suck, because you're going to eat every single one of Morde's siphons (his cone skillshot he uses to wipe out your creep wave, plus you standing behind your creep wave; it's a really long cone). Anyone who's playing timidly will suck, because Morde only gets worse moving into mid- and late-game.

Morde is a really beastly combination of range/melee, magic/phys, early game/late game, tank/mage, and burst/continuous damage. I think all that saves him from being a horrific monster on the level of Yorick is that most people play him safe, and build tank items (eg. Rylai's, Abyssal). If you've seen one go flat-out balls to the wall with their build, who knows what they're doing and plays aggressively, tearing through your tank in seconds, QSS or no QSS, it makes you glad less people know what they're doing.

I've countered Morde with Caitlyn rather well. Just keep poking his ass then running away if he tries to close in, no CC = game over with a smart ranged poker.
