My suggestion is take it as a joke (since the person doesn't even know your race), and if you can't, grow a thicker skin.
Except the OP clearly states that the comments are targeted at their specific ethnicity because their name is Cantonese and thus the person does know their race.

I don't think disconnecting is the appropriate response in this situation. It just makes sense that there should be a penalty for disconnecting from a game, which will generally lose your team the game and make the game considerably less enjoyable for everyone else. Even if you have what seems like a good reason to disconnect, you shouldn't. The ignore and mute functions are implemented in this game so that you don't have to endure these types of comments. They're immature and a poor reflection on the people who make them, and I expect it would be very tiresome to repeatedly come across them, but it's not like you're being forced to endure them while those functions exist. So I'm sympathetic to your situation, but I think you need to stop disconnecting from the games and instead ignore them. Try opening the scoreboard and pressing the speech bubble button to add the offenders to ignore, then report them after the game (take a screenshot if necessary). If they accrue enough reports then hopefully they'll be removed from the community for awhile.

This happens in all games dude, just mute/ignore them and deal with it. Report them also.

I don't want to play with Racists. I leave the game. And I get a penalty.

Most of you seemed to miss the point of my posting this here.
The Draconian, punish-punish-punish-those-who-don't-do-what-we-want-system, leaves the offenders laughing at the system and only punishes the victims.
I think you might be overlooking the reason most of the people have left comments here. They are telling you that the offenders will get punished in the tribunal, all you have to do is report them. They are also telling you what you can do to avoid their comments once they start, i.e. press the ignore button. Those comments were meant to help you.

I know it can be tough to play with people once you know they are jerks, even after you ignore them. However, leaving games when you are offended is not the best way to deal with them, that's often what they want anyway. So it doesn't really punish the people you are mad at, but it will punish the members on your team that are not doing anything wrong (unless ALL 4 of your teamates are making racist comments at you).

You don't have to take my advice, but I recommend you put them on ignore, you can still speak your mind to them, but you don't have to hear their racist replies. Then try to move on and enjoy the rest of the game, and remember to report them at the end. I think you'll find being a bigger person than them (while still being able to actually punish them in the end) very empowering.

ooh good,

just thought I'd add that when you report you can leave a comment that the tribunal will see as well. If you explain why you find what the person said so offensive you will dramatically increase the chance that the racists will get punished by the tribunal.

Yes, I agree. Providing report comments really helps people in the Tribunal see what's wrong. I know I at least would vote to punish those making racist comments, since it's pretty clearly declared to be a punishable offence in the Tribunal guidelines.
