I always ask my support to put down a ward on the other side of the wall, even tho we are the purple team. Usually play as a jungler, and after 20 min my wriggles is only for baron. However, my support keeps warding everything, except for dat wall. Am I right? idk, maybe Im just becoming psychotic

You definitely want to have wards over the wall no matter what team you are on. On some champions if you stand in certain spots over the wall, you can still Smite Baron for the steal, although I think Riot tried to move Baron up in order to stop this but it isn't fool-proof.
