It's just my personal preference, but since the range nerf I've come to like Flash less and less, even though I understand how strong it is etc.

I already run Ghost on 90% of my top lanes and I love Ghost because of the maneuvrability, kiting potential, shorter cooldown, unit-walking, etc. I often use Ghost on carries too.

So I kind of want to try Ghost in midlane as a substitute for Flash and I'm trying to understand what to expect from both junglers and lanes and if that's viable at all. I tend to ward a LOT and pretty deep and I have good positioning. I'm an aggressive player, I like pushing / pressuring a lot and invading jungle to steal stuff.

Thoughts? Anyone here who runs Ghost mid in high Elo? Anything I can use the spell for as a midlane (something I don't know) ?

ghost is outdated, there's way too many CCs that completely nulify ghost, you're better running ignite/flash and exhaust/flash... ghost is kind of a low-teir summoner unless you have some sort of way to cleanse or tenacity ability

flash to catch people out of position
flash to dodge other peoples ults
flash initiate onto them
flash to be a legit kill threat in lane

Everyone will always say Flash regardless of the circumstances.

Although (Low Elo, woo) I say Ghost against Udyr because of his soft gap closer.

By the way, some champions don't use Exhaust OR Ignite just because of their damage types (Xerath's range makes Exhaust and Ignite a moot point; he shouldn't be in range when he's dedicating for a kill)

and to add... flash isn't a, "****, I"M GETTING GANKED, FLASH FLASH FLASH!!!!!!111oneoenoen" ability, you have to use it smart, and not spam it right away (which is starting to sound like what you're doing). you need to use it intelligently.

e.g. you're getting ganked, u run to a wall to flash over, but you don't flash right away, you let them think you're going to so they try to cut you off by going behind the wall, meanwhile, you just walk in the opposite direction and didn't waste your flash at all
