I will be hosting open try outs for the next couple of days to join Team Phrase.
How to join? Simply add me, ggepicfail , on League of Legends and send me a message saying something like, "Hey I would like to try out!" From there, you will be put against me or another one of the team members in a 1v1 duel.
The rules of the duel are first one to die or lose their tower loses. You both exit the game and talk to the team member you previously faced and from there either you will get a "Thank you, but no thank you." OR...you will be entered into a 5v5 premade to see how you do in your preferred position. The point of the 1v1 is to test your skill. So choose which character you think you'd beat me with, regardless of position.
Currently the team positions are as follows:
Top - ISBS
Middle - Smirky Tulips
Bottom - GGepicfail
Support - (Empty)
Jungler - (Empty)
Reserve #1 - ToDaRescue
Reserve #2 - (Empty)
Reserve #3 - (Empty)
Reserve #4 - (Empty)
As you can see we have positions to fill so let me know what position you want and I'll set up a tryout for you.
Also, a worthy note to mention is the "Reserve" spot. If you have a person that already has your spot BUT a reserve is left, this means you have the chance of beating him out of his spot by dueling him best of five. To kick a reserve off the team you have to let me know, challenge him, and duel him out of five. Once one dies, you will set up ANOTHER game, and ANOTHER game, and not play with the same game, because if one person is on tower one and the other is on tower two that's stupid. To challenge a spot, if you are a reserve, you do the same thing except the games will go out of 7 instead of five, abiding by all the rules. This is just to keep the best players on the starting roster in their preferred position. This does include me by the way! If you want my spot come and take it 
Right now, the change is going to be best of 3 and best of 5. We are new and deciding who is best where so we can't have a long dueling process. To take a reserve spot, it's best duel out of three, and for a reserve to claim a roster spot it's best out of five.
In regards to challenges, right now if a team member is challenged and maintains his current role he can't be challenged for another week. This is to prevent someone constantly trying to beat you because eventually he will win. If a player challenges another player he or she has to agree and face the person within two days. If in two days the higher ranked does not duel, he or she loses their spot automatically.
The only other thing I can think to add is if you do make the Team you will need to download the Ventrilo Client (Vent). This is a program used to chat throughout the game that doesn't lag computers. Some people prefer Skype or other programs but we're using this for now. Thanks.
