WW can beat her as long as you dont take too much level 1 damage. lee sin does alright vs her. teemo makes her cry if you are good at kiting

For riven counters I would say, teemo garen and olaf.
then he heals it all back? yorick has strong harass right from level 1 since it doesn't get minion agro and his sustain is off the charts.

Actually I'm surprised no one mentioned Shen. Trying to fight Shen as Riven is the literal manifestation of Futility. The really funny part is that he has free reign to play the match-up any way he pleases. He can max Vorpal Blade and just out-harass/out-sustain you, he can max shield if he feels like it, and as long as he has one level of vorpal, he'll STILL out-sustain you. (I'm not sayin he's OP, I'm just saying in my experience he tools Riven.)
