I'll try explain a little behind my thought process.
Through writing both the stories I have there is inherently a lot of implied adult relations. The fact that Sona and Talon have a child lends to that, along with all the cut off points which can be seen as just a romantic cuddle, or a cut off for the purpose of not posting mature materials. However everytime that I write a new chapter than inherently ends in what can be assumed to be implied mature content I find msyelf writing the story futher and further in my head. The action which could possibly take place after the chapter has ended. I've been approached by a number of people who've told me that they want to see what happens after the chapter ends, what goes through my mind. The first approach happened about halfway through the writing of Shadow of the Maven and the kept coming in nearly every week. I kept putting it off, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to possibly damage my reputation for bringing romance in my own special way.
Many people on this forum are strongly against smut and out of respect for them I would always cut off at a convenient time. I'd give you enough information to assume what was happening, but never bring any details into the situation. However I feel like if i really put my mind to the task at hand that I can write a passionate mature scene that isn't 'smut' or 'sleazy' as you described it. The main trouble I have is finding a balance between what I find as acceptable wording and what other people will think upon reading it.
I'm willing to write a chapter like that but it might possibly be one of the most monumental efforts that I've ever undertaken, because lets face it. When it comes to adult based scenes there are a lot of issues you run into, whether it be wording, what is actually taking place, and it all kind of just gets thrown together. It would take me time to make sure that it sounds just right, but i'm willing to put the time in to try and make something that I think people will understand, and not think of as just being another 'smut' story.
With all of that being said, the next chapter to this story won't be released until the Bonus Chapter of Shadow of the Maven is ready, but I will hold firm to releasing 1 chapter to this story per week. So if you read Shadow of the Maven be looking for the Bonus Chapter next week.
