Riot doesn't need to meticulously craft dry public releases on matters like this.

They can just LAW DOWN THE LAW.

Sure Tamat's post may have been well thought-out, but the point is that it does a much better job at what it's doing than a 'normal' public release could.

2 day ban? Is this real? I saw the picture but anyone can confirm this? Otherwise it is too soft, need an IP ban at least.

And how is it harsh?
It would be permabanned. This way somebody can maybe use the name.
And just so the players can't even argue about havign the account unbanned.

Give them zero hope in having an account back.

Since Riot has logs, they're probably banning in a fashion such as this...


- If abused in Ranked to gain ELO, more than once : PERMABAN.
-If abused in Normals more than once in a severe manner: Perma-one month bans
-If used in a normal game once for testing lulz: Temp ban + warning (varying durations)
