When trying to patch the game, I got an update failure. If you close the game and reopen it works fine, but still a nuisance.

This happened to 2 of my friends clients as well, this is with the new patch today btw.

I got this too. Just opened it a second time, will edit what happens.

Edit: Second time it updated without an issue.

why does it seem i have to patch the game everytime i open it? sometimes i can get to logon screen and play, sometimes it gives an error

i got the same problem.. but now it's saying it's updating but it's stuck at 33%

Same issue failed the first time, worked the second time, gets stuck at 33% for awhile that's not an error just something that happened

this happened to me. It has not fixed itself. Been over 8 hours. Still stuck at 33. Redownloaded client, deleted folders. Still not working.

Same problem but restarting patcher fixed the problem for me.

Similar problem. When I launch, the LoL logo appears and the rads process starts, but then it just keeps restarting. I have to shut it down from End Process in task manager. Second time I launch, the launcher appears but crashes with an "unable to update" error of sorts. Then I restart the launcher, LoL logo does it flicker restart thing and I end process it. 4th launch, it finally goes.

Honestly my updater is always stuck at 33% but it still updates and finishes fine. Tho i did get the failure then have to reopen and it worked thing today.
