For someone who appears to need so much help, and supposedly sucks, I have seen a lot of good Kayle players recently.

Solo top Kayle has been known to be a good counter to melees for ages now.

Gap closer melee kill her if they don't suck, but whatever, Kayle is the second coming of god, all hail Kayle.

I think she's just one of those heroes that take a little more thought to play well, like Karma or Cass. I can not, for the life of me, get the hang of Kayle. Other two yes...not her.
