I play to win, but I'm not as concerned with winning as with learning how to be better at the mode. I consider dominion normals kind of like a preseason... winning still feels nice, but its not quite at the competitiveness of ranked yet.

Well dominion can't really be competitive... it snowballs back and forth to hard...

I take everygame seriously, I don't mind if I lose the game. I just want to have fun and prove my skill .

I'd like to win. But I have no noteworthy feelings when I win or lose. Close games are still very fun though.

i play to win, but i practice sometimes new champs there, cause, farm and skill order, etc are mechanics, and can even be practiced with bots, but real fights against people can't

Dominion is great for that because, you lvl more quickly, don't need to farm, you have more items in less time to try diferent builds.

The big thing that stops me from enjoying Dominion is the community in low-mid elos. I'm not a pro player, will never ever be a pro player. My reaction times are terrible and I'm just not good at video games.

This is actually OK with me, as I'm 26 and I have a job and I don't plan on being a pro gamer any time soon. What I'd really like though is if the players I get stuck with weren't 80% trolls who use Dominion to try out new builds and generally screw around. The other problem is that while the meta in SR is pretty well-understood by even low-level players, low-skill Dominion players tend to have no idea what they're even doing and flame other people during the game for not following their dumb strategies or for doing what they're supposed to do.

I also find Dominion to have less potential for single-player impact. What I mean by that is, you can't master micro and get to 1700 just by CSing better than opponents in Dominion and then mopping up in team fights. Your team mates are always going to matter to some degree, a large part of carrying games is just knowing what you're doing and your team listening to you.

Also, I hate Pantheon and I ****ing hate seeing him in every single ****ing god ****ed game.

I find it boring and aggravating. I usually do well in the games I do play, which is once in a blue moon, but the balance is so off putting. Certain characters just do way to well in dominion, mainly the stronger carries, or people that are really item dependent and get them for free basically.

To answer the question, I don't take it seriously at all. The only time I even play it is when I say to myself "Man, its been like 2 months since I've played dominion. Maybe I should play a game and I will like it," but I never do.

I <3 Dominion. Only at about 250~ wins but plan on tripling that, or even reaching 1k wins this summer break. I play to win and to learn. I have no clue what my elo is though (the last time I checked JabeBot it was around 1600-1700). I just recently found a team to play with and am having great amounts of fun playing Dominion. I understand people initially came to LoL for the dota-style gameplay, but just because Dominion is not for them doesn't make it a bad game mode. I do wish for ranked to come out, maybe once it does, if I continue training, I can possibly become a true competitor to other serious Dominion players. Go Dominion!
