I play MF almost exclusively, and a few things drive me crazy about how shes coded ( and I presume other champs are coded as well)

Why does she run up to into a group of minions and enemy champs clustered roughly together, equally within range, and start auto attacking the creeps instead of the 1 or more champs RIGHT next to her??? what possible reason does RIOT have for doing it that way?

Why doesn't she start AAing the closest or strongest enemy champ? Many many times in a frantic onscreen fight where you cant tell whats going on, I rely on her AA, which is her best attack anyway once her attack speed is up, but she gets wiped out by wasting her time on creeps not the guy right next to her melting her face off.. please explain this to me

Also, why does the game randomly pick champs when you play a new game if you don't babysit it and select who you want? Doesn't it make more sense to default to the last champ you played? Many many times I've selected MF, stepped away for a few minutes, had the game restart and come back to find some other champ picked for me. Very frustrating considering how often people drop out. Not interested in baby-siting the game, just wanna play it and have fun. Should at least be a preference setting for that.

Also why is there no command key to cap a tower - cant count how many times I've died when it's a close call ( low on health) and you want to start to cap and it seems like the computer ignores the click unless you pick the exact right spot. The tower nails you as you click and click to find the sweet spot. Why not just be able to come up and hit C or whatever to cap the tower you are at?

1. Auto-targetting minions: Probably a holdover from classic, where this is preferable. Last thing you want is to be in tower range and inadvertently attack a champion (thus drawing the Tower's deadly laser love straight to your face).
Besides, if you auto-targeted and auto attacked champions, auto attacker champions wouldn't even have to right click anymore, and that's about all they do! (kidding... sort of)
Everyone has the same trouble targeting who they want in those big pile-up fights. I'd rather have to choose my own target than let the game do it for me.

2. Random Champ Select: Pay attention to your Queue. I mean, it pops up in front of any other window you might have up and sounds the horn of war. If that doesn't get your attention, what are you doing, making a sandwich? If that's the case... why did you queue if you knew you'd be AFK?

3. Key to Channel on Tower: This would probably be pretty nice. I can't say how many times I've accidentally began to channel mid-fight for a split-second, so that when the fight is over, I'm still on channeling cooldown and can't save myself from the turret shot.

Well I'm NOT AFK when I supposedly started the match... that's the whole point- the game is locked in, supposed to count down, then load, then start. A perfect time to run to bathroom etc. If someone drops out you shouldn't be auto stuck back into the que unless you actively show you are NOT AFK by clicking "OK" etc.

As for the AA behavior, I can see your point - but its still frustrating as hell, and what with confusion and server lag I get yelled at often for attacking a minion instead of "helping out" the poor teammate right next to me being pummeled to death in 2 seconds. By the time I can reclick the enemy instead o the minion, he, or both of us, are dead.

Just click on an enemy champion. That's your hardest job as the AD carry, but I'm sure you can manage it.

I'd say the hardest job is staying alive against that Panth/WW/Wukong that'd LOVE to take a giant **** on you with their abominable gap closers and what have you.

Really? I'd expect that from a bad player, but you seem to know what you're doing. In my opinion, AD carries are the hardest champion type to play. Yes, learning to right click on the right champion becomes second nature after a while, but position an AD carry correctly is not easy to do, especially when your opponents are good enough that you have to step-attack-step-attack.
