Just a thought,

I dont know if its just me, but sometimes in ranked 5s or premade normals, when I somewhat, do not know who to play, regardless of who I see on the enemy team. This is due to my game being somewhat slightly glitchy and having bought a majority of the champions and find it annoying having so many.

Perhaps in champion select it would be useful if you could have some premade "tabs" (e.g. Jungler, AP, support) that would then just show you the corresponding champions you have chosen to be under that tab (kind of similar to masteries or runes?). Thus, removing the other champions -similar to the searching of champions- so you can view the more viable picks for yourself rather than looking over every champion trying to find one.

The only real downside to this I can see at this stage is that it may crowd champions select a bit.
