Fizz, gragas, morde, akali, swain, kennen, vlad, and tons of others that I'm sure I'm leaving out are very solid choices.

Gragas is great in a blind pick situation where you could be against a 1v2 lane. He can play very conservative and still get his farm. I think he might fit easy to learn hard to master. Use barrels to farm. Drink every time it's off cooldown. Get used to being yelled at for fail ults though. Doesn't have a hell of a lot of matchups where he can be dominated since worst case you can just sit on your tower and barrel farm.

Vlad is immovable past a certain level, provided you can get there.

Kennen is a decent pick vs quite a few tops, but he gets worked against others.

Rumble seems like a solid counter to a lot of tops. Though admittedly I don't know a lot about him except for the fact that he can beat quite a few bruisers up there.
