Graves, Vayne and Tristana

Is it just me or is it hard to carry with Graves in SoloQ? I carry harder with Vayne than I do with Graves and I carry my hardest with Tristana than I do with Vayne or Graves. Like am I doing something wrong? My positioning? I always get harassed in lane and its so hard to trade back no matter who I play.

People say Graves is one of the strongest AD's right now but I feel like I'm missing out on something. His burst doesn't seem that high early game and his auto attack range is lower than Vayne's.

Can anyone give some tips?

Vayne can carry harder but graves has such an easy time laning phase.

Abuse Grave's early laning phase, win game.
Having the right support helps too (Taric/Blitz/Alistar/Soraka)

i prefer ashe or corki depending on my support, i like to pick corki against graves because hes stronger early game and can snowball just as hard, against most other ads i like ashe because you cant really kill her if you play right and your support is decent and her poke is so good most lanes cant really stop you from farming, and she beats every other ad in teamfights aslong as they arent fed because of her aoe damage and utility.

Yeah I was with a Janna one game but I failed miserably. I seem to lose my lane every time I go Graves.

graves can absolutely destroy a lane, and trist can somewhat dominate a lane, vayne is just trying to free farm.

graves kills lane, making other ad carry weak and him able to kill your team.

Yeah but every time I try and harass I take the autos to the face from both the support and the AD and it's so hard for me to trade back. It seems like every time there's a support on my team they don't want to harass at all and they'd rather sit in the bush and play passive.
