Okay, so I'm updating this again.

We've figured out that the reason I am "disconnecting" is due to the fact that my client is hanging on the the previous game.

Meaning when I start a new match, the game believes I am still sitting in the previous one, causing me to disconnect and then have to retry and join.

I just downloaded the PBE, it happens there also. I don't expect anyone to read through this thread. I'm only updating it for the wrenchman that is trying to help xD

It's not you. It's a bug that Riot is working on fixing. It disconnects people for no reason before and in-games. Also you kind of did a lot just to try and fix a connection problem for one game haha.

you should try to uninstall then reinstall the game. maybe some of the files were lost and is preventing you from loading a game

That's really wierd...I can't think of any reason it would do that at just your house....

if you have norton get rid of it...problem solved

norton HATES league of legends i sometimes have to disable it so called "smart firewall" just to connect to games.....

so try disabling your smartfirewall for like 15 mins b4 the game starts

I work for a company called Open Table. I spend my entire day reconfiguring networks and seeking out issues with network security. And yes, I've become completely obsessed with why this is happening.

If it is a bug with Riot, that still does not explain the fact that if I start a match from my computer, it disconnects, but if my friend logs on to my computer and starts a match via remote connection, is works.

Its coming from the exact same computer, same IP, same everything...there are no variables changing at all, except that he is controlling it remotely. That makes zero sense to me.

Maybe something about that will make sense to someone at Riot.


EDIT: I do not have Norton. I was using Kaspersky, I removed it. All traffic is 100% open.

I have re installed the game multiple times. Including twice on a freshly formatted computer. There is literally nothing installed but Windows and LoL. I've even tried using both Windows XP and Windows 7.

There are no paranormal specialists in this area. If I have an LoL hating demon, I guess I am screwed.

When you first open the launcher, click on the little options button (Couple of gears) on the top right corner, and allow peer-to-peer transfer, I was having similar DC problems awhile back but they discontinued.
