I wanna do some normal pvp, i am now level 14 and wanted to know when i que for a normal pvp should i ask what type of champion we need for the group. champion Doesn't matter to me, i just wanna start playing some pvp.

*Do i need to know all the champs and what lanes they are better in before i start to pvp? I am ok against beginner bots but get lit up most the time in pvp as of now. Maybe i should try the intermediate level 1st.

* I play create game a lot is there anyway to make the bots intermediate level?

* Do i need to be a pro before i try and play normal pvp?

Just jump in! Pick a champion you're comfortable with and get to know the game. The only scary part about PvP is all of the negative flak you might get. If you can brush that off and enjoy the game for what it is, you'll do fine.

If you're able to handle the beginner bots, then step up to the intermediate bots. They almost resemble what a normal pvp game would be like. Once you can handle them then you can get into pvp. The best way to enter pvp is with friends or after you feel like you have a grasp of what to do. You don't have to ask what champion is needed because some people will choose what champion they like or want to try out while others may tell people what champion to pick to fill in all the roles.

1. You don't need to learn every champion and their respective lanes, but it's good to know at least half of the roster. That way, you can make a good educated guess as to what champion goes where and what to expect. Overtime, you will know every champion and their respective skills and lanes.

2. There's no way to change them to intermediate in custom games.

3. No. It's best to go in when you have a good understanding of a handful of champs (maybe one for each role: tanky dps, tank, ap carry, ad carry, support, but that's up to you)

Just pvp whenever you feel like testing your skills. If you do bad, try again or maybe play a couple more bot games. It takes time and practice. If you want, add me and I'll help ease you into normal pvp easier.

I really disagree with what a lot of people said. It is important to know what champions can do what.

When a new champion comes out I immediately do everything I can to understand it so I will know how to counteract. I also have every champions abilities memorized, so when I see one, I know how to respond to them in the lane, and what to look out for.

You are free to play whatever champion you like, but it is nice when players have one champion for each role (if possible).

Using AI matches is a great way to get a feel for each champion (if you don't own one just youtube a video with it being played). Once you feel comfortable with the champions, dive in to 5 v 5. With the knowledge you have you will dominate.

You could dive right in if you would like, but you will most likely get reemed for it (you can always report and use /ignore on those players). Good luck summoner!

Just jump into PvP mate. Yes, you will run into the odd jerk (or 10), but the more you play, the more you'll figure out just how different people are as opposed to bots (and the more the Matchmaking system will understand what quality of players to match you with).

Just get in there. Don't rage, be nice to your fellow man and you'll do fine.

Oh, and in early levels like that, just pick what you want. two top, one mid, two bottom. (unless one of you can jungle) - I remember back when I was down there thoguh, and Junglers tended to punish their own teams more than anything as the lack of runes made them poor junglers, and the inexperienced 1v2 fellow at the top got destroyed.

To answer your questions specifically though:

*Do i need to know all the champs and what lanes they are better in before i start to pvp? I am ok against beginner bots but get lit up most the time in pvp as of now. Maybe i should try the intermediate level 1st.

As a general rule of thumb, AP goes mid, Ranged AD goes bot. Outside of that, particularly at level 14, it's a lot more chaotic that at level 30.

Keep practicing against people, two things will happen. You'll improve AND matchmaking will start matching you with players of your level- even as you start to improve.

* I play create game a lot is there anyway to make the bots intermediate level?

When you create the game, you can select beginner or intemediate level.

* Do i need to be a pro before i try and play normal pvp?

Nah, just get in there!

Thank you very much to all the people who posted with this information.
I don't get bothered by other people i play the game to relieve stress from everyday life and people are not going to outdo that stuff, i just play the game.

I will try some co-op intermediate and see if i suck on those.

If someone tell me i suck i just say yes i do thanks for noticing, any tips are greatly appreciated!

Thanks ZeSoren for the add friend thing.

Thanks again everyone.

A good idea is to watch some pro level games on youtube or follow a pro level players' games on a specific champion. Watching what those people do, gives a better sense of what is expected from each role and introduce much of the terminology that is used in the league.

Intermediate bots are harder than people until you reach level 25 or so. Something about new players being bad at the game, which is natural!
