To some people, the reward IS a big reward. There is no complete definition on "big reward". In some eyes, it's being rewarded every champ in the game and a skin for each FOR FREE! In others it's nothing but a simple IP boost. So, regardless, this is a reward. Just because it's not "big enough" doesn't mean that they failed to deliver their promise. That's called the consumer being too greedy. Hand them gold, they complain about weight....
They promised a big reward at 2,000,000 and failed to implement it. 2,000,000 is a lot of likes. They are now at 3.4 million and what we are recieving is underwhelming and should NOT have taken this long to be delivered if all it is, is a 34% IP boost. That seems kind of like a failure to me, dropping the ball hardcore.

I'd have settled for a normal IP boost weekend. That's actually substantial. They didn't hand us gold, they handed us pyrite and are telling us it's gold.

To those saying that we're lucky to get something at all:

This isn't some altruistic giveaway they are doing. They promised a reward to get their brand notice and exposure, Riot did get a return on this. This isn't a giveaway, it is a trade, and we held up our end of the bargain. Considering even the most avid player is going to get max 1k bonus ip, it seems to me to be fairly cost effective marketing from their pov. This isn't entitlement, this is about expecting our end of the bargain

I have to work one of the days and have plans out of the house on the other day this weekend, so pretty much no benefit here. I'm not really complaining, just disappointed that it's so limited.

A Big reward is definitively better than a compensation reward for a server screwup, if we consider than when the server fail big time we get some Per Win IP Boost, then we can assume that a miserable 34% IP boost is way crappier since it grant you a miserable amount of IP across several games in comparison to just a single Per Win IP Boost.

I have to admit, I expected better from you guys at Riot.

I have respect for you for admitting that this is long overdue, but this is incredibly disappointing, especially considering how you used to commonly have double IP weekends for nothing at all.

I appreciate you actually doing something for the community, as well as owning up for the fact that this is long overdue, but it simply feels like you could have done so much better than this.

So I guess in closing this image is my reaction.
