If Riven is so faceroll, why are 9/10 (being generous) Rivens I see absolutely terrible? If she is so easy to build, why do I see so many people building stupid stuff on her? If you look at leagueofstats, enough people build Ghostblade and Frozen Mallet on her that it's on her item list and her win rate is only 50.38%, which is incredibly low for how powerful a champ she is. If you want to say she's OP, fine, I agree, but don't act like all you do is smash Q, buy 6 Rabadon's Deathblades, and that's the extent of Riven.

The comparisons aren't very meaningful, either, as rage is bad in general on this map because there isn't a good way to build it and the only other real competition for manaless is Katarina (who has other serious problems and is considered bad even on SR) and Garen (who is also considered bad on SR and is weak late-game, which makes him even worse for Dominion). So, yes, when comparing her to bad champs, she is much better than them.

I mean, Jax, Kassadin or Poppy is not nearly as broken as Riven right? And playing wukong and warwick takes a lot of skill unlike AD Malz and Cassiopia who just roflsmash on keyboard and win - right?

On a side note, I would like to see FDru do 10 or so games as Riven to see how OP that champ is at high elo.

I just want to know why you Riven hating monsters made her pick up a shift at the local mall hiding Easter eggs AFTER you broke her sword. The local mall is one place one always needs a good sword.

I like how you just blow off Kat completely, just cause you can stun her ult.

It's as if that's the core part of her gameplay!

Things you should probably correct:

Garen doesn't have any health costs.
Riven is unable to move or dash during snares/roots.

Renekton and Tryndamere are two of the hardest counters to Riven in SR. Last I checked this game was balanced around that map.

A snare is a movement slow. I don't know what idiot decided to start calling roots snares in LoL but it's dumb and wrong. Riven can move all she wants while snared.

I haven't played Garen in like a year; but could have sworn he had minor health costs on judgment and decisive strike. I guess not. I'd edit it but I don't care, this was a rant I wrote while I was half asleep. I'm amazed that it has upvotes.

Anyway, I don't think Riven is "OP", just OP for a resourceless champ. Also, from what I understand Renekton doesn't even hard counter her in SR, he's just one of the only champs she doesn't completely s*** on.

I'm not sure how this makes any sense, mostly because resources are part of what makes a champ weak or strong, but also because this is a map where almost everyone is effectively resourceless by the end of the game and the top of the tier list is dominated by not just champs who use mana, but a lot of them that just stack mana.

Also, if you think Riven is OP now, give her the option to build Manamune with Glacial Shroud and see what happens. Imagine how fast she could charge that thing. Timed correctly with CDR, her Q alone would charge at the max rate.
