Hi. I decided to do this because there have been a lot of talk about my team and what they did at MLG this past weekend. I rarely post on the forums and well, I don't want to give people the wrong impression of my team or me. So let's start with the beginning. If it's TLDR, then just know that I love you all

An introduction to my team:
My team is comprised of a group of friends who play at Dreamlab LAN Center in Arcadia, CA. We're all 2k+ ELO players in solo queue, and we never really did play together as a group. We hang out everyday there, and it's almost like our 2nd home. ClakeyDeeeeeeeee used to play for Epik Gamer, NickWu is his brother, and TooPro4u/me emo are regulars. And well, I'm from the fighting game scene who fell in love with the game.
How in the world did our team get into the tournament:
MLG invited us to the tournament about a week before it started because a team dropped out. I was a last resort as my team was all located in Arcadia, CA about a 40 minute drive from Anaheim. I had my week all planned out before I even knew I was getting into MLG. I had a girl fly in for a week from New York for E3, and everyone else was playing D3 like crazy. Yes, we went into everything unprepared. It was just all last minute.
What our strategy was:
We went into the tournament thinking that we would try our hardest and if we went up against a dominant team, we'd try first game and just go with the flow. It had been so long since I played League, that I literally searched up scarra in the tournament accounts and jacked all his rune pages. I called him, I was looking at every other AP's pages, and I took it all! ClakeyD was going to call the shots since he was once on a great team. And everyone else was going to try not to die. For three of our players (NickWu, TooPro4u, and me emo), this was their first major tournament. I've been playing in tournaments for 12 years in the FGC, and ClakeyD has some experience and also experience in the LOL tournaments.
Against TSM:
Talking "trash" before the game was going to happen no matter what. The crowd at MLG saw that Rivington, Reginald, and I were dancing and hugging each other before the interview while MLG was on commercial break. It was all for good fun. In the fighting game community, I talk trash about everything and/or everyone that exists. No one ever takes me as seriously as most of the League of Legends community did. I was known for winning tournaments and then turned into a personality that never won again (unfortunately because I started playing League of Legends and stopped playing fighting games). I do it to please the crowd and to see people smile, that's what I enjoy doing in life. I talked trash about TSM, called them scrubs, and all that, yes. But did I really mean it? NO. They're the top seeded team there, and we're a bunch of friends who decided to go to MLG last minute, did you guys really think we had a 0.00001% chance? I mean I did annihilate regi mid... But you know

HEIMEERRDINGGGEEEERRRRR?:
In solo queue, when TooPro4u has to support, he loves playing support gangplank / heimerdinger, and a lot of pros know that about him. It's what he does, and they weren't troll picks. The 2nd game that we played after getting manhandled the first game, we decided to pick everything we were comfortable with playing and had used to climb the solo queue ladder (which was a mistake). NickWu is known for his Viktor, Lee Sin got permabanned on ClakeyD so he used Mundo. And I played Fizz which I used to have like a 79% win rate with him, and he's supposed to counter Karthus. So in our minds, our picks were legit.
In the end:
We're all a bunch of friends and solo queue players who decided to say yes to an invite. Yes, there were better teams out there, and would've done better, but they all declined to MLG and we were picked up. We had fun, and we're glad we made a lot of fans and people who support us. There are always a lot of haters out there, and I've known that from my 12 years in the competitive scene. I just hope I cleared a lot of things up for everything in this random post, because seriously I had a dream about 10 minutes before I started typing this that someone was going to burn down my house because I talked about TSM in a bad manner, when it was all a joke.

Thanks for making the event feel like home from the FGC. MLG said they had sound proof booths, but all the noise that came from the crowd was not sound proof! I could hear everything! I hope everyone enjoyed the show and continues to support my team ^.^
