It depends of the RP. First you need to create a character here

"Open RP" that you can join right now (if i understood):

No private contact is needed. Some threads you can simply join, others you can ask the DM while using OOC double brackets, which are these thingies here ((*Sample Text*)), and some threads have sign-ups.
