The Summoner Spell Barrier should have the following icon in-game:

my barrier "icon" was just a solid blue box. it was that for the load screen and in game. in champion select, it looked right.

When was the last time you patched PBE? Are any other assets missing or not working?

All of the champion icons in game are solid black, and on the minimap allies are giant green dots and enemies are giant red dots. Very hard to use it now. Was fine before latest patch.

I can confirm this. I just restarted my Beta client to make sure I was up to date, launched PG again with barrier and it was still a blue box.

Solid blue box today on Proving Grounds. Everything else is working fine except once where Ancient Golem stayed passive while trying out the PFE skin.

I patched a few hours ago. It appears to be up to date.

Everything else on the proving ground seemed to be working fine, and barrier would still activate normally, the icon was just a blue box.


There have been other problems i've had, such as jungle creeps not attacking properly, but that is not part of the proving grounds.



edit: actually, i do not know if it is a proving grounds problem specifically or not, but in my game earlier, in game chat was not working.

Mine shows in the client but in the loading screen its a blue box, same with ingame a blue box
