Hecarim is a really good counterpick, His early ganks are amazing on characters without innate flash / movement abilities and he has one of the best late games of any champion.

His Q does lots of sustained damage and is one of his greatest assets.

If Riot is really that scared of his clear speed, just boost the damage of his Q, but ramp up the penalty it has against monsters.


Or give it something that makes it satisfying to use. Like give his Q a tiny 2% on use +2% per stack MS boost or something.

btw how does this sound?

Make Hecarim a hybrid and give his Q AP scaling.

It might make him deal damage if he gets Rageblade. On the other hand...can Hecarim even afford to build something that doesn't give him atleast a bit of tankiness?

Give him more dmg = being too strong in top lane

This game really needs a custom map editor just for Hecarim.

So many things can be tweaked with him that makes him better. Yet if more than one of those things were tweaked, he has potential to become a bit OP.


I wonder how well it would go if his Q did extra damage if it only hits a single champion, but evenly spread damage if it hits multiple.

So...let's talk more about Hecarim since I can't be bothered to wait 30 minutes just to enter the game...

I love Hecarim. But I'm a Dominion player, so he's fun and seems to do great damage on my map. All I know is he's fun and I can spam "Another bluuueee ribbon for Hecarim!" Every time I take a tower. =D
