There were lots of times Anivia threw a blank wall and put it on cooldown.

Or was at base, replenishing mana.

You don't need minions to push a turret.

Lee Sin could have tanked 2 turretshots, and shielded back to his team in case of danger. Corki could have walked in, hit once, and Valkyrie right back up and wait for it to come back again.

They didn't even need someone to tank it. 2 Corki autoattacks with Trinity proc would kill that turret. Easily. They were just too scared. They had lots of opportunities to harass that turret, but they didn't take them.

Hell they could have basically made Nunu march down there and went ape**** on that turret, and still win the game due to Gold + item + Baron advantage.

If they did one of those, we would just say, "well, Anivia did all he could but couldn't hold them off for so long" and we would be right in saying that. Froggen really did give them some windows of opportunity at certain points, but none were taken by m5.

Did anyone else think it was weird that a pro couldn't pop his Zhyona's and that he cancelled his ult in that fight? I think it was a great game, I just feel like it was thrown for some reason.

They weren't scared, they're just c0cky and want to drag out the game since they think they can 'end it whenever we want'

Froggen used anivia stun (Flash Frost) while karthus was using his ult, and cancelled the channel, cancelling the ult.

Also karthus did pop zhonyas, but there were some cases were popping it wouldn't have made a difference (like when he was caught by all of CLG, popping zhonyas' would've been useless, since he would've died either way.

Sorry, pro players don't play with that attitude, maybe low level players, but pros end it as soon as they see the chance, they would never intentionally drag out a game against a comp like that.

Better team comp wins and that's how it is, clg had everything they needed to turtle. They may have not had the damage early enough but they could still play defensively enough to win until they had the damage.
