Yes they are. Knowing exactly where people are allows people to be wreckless. See that kassadin bot lane just destroy a ward? you know hes not going to jump on you if you initiate a fight on the top tower right now, likewise the bot laner knows to stick to his tower like glue.

The map already gives more than enough visibility. You can see around all the towers 24-7, you can see people pushing creeps, the only place you can't see is in the jungle and that is the whole point of it being there in the first place. If wards are to be added, it should be a summoner spell so people have to sacrifice something for it.

It's fine as is. And we don't need an AD hextech sweeper. That's like saying we need an AD deathcap. No we don't. Different itemization for different roles. This map is too mall for wards. You have visual of 60% of the map already. I agree with the above post. If we are going to do this just add CV for dominion. But it doesn't need to be done at all.

assuming dominion wards would have the same sight radius as what you are currently used to. That would be absurd. However, there are ways to make wards not gross.

It doesn't matter. You act like the paths in the jungle are large. Wards on dominion are a bad idea. It promotes passive play and would slow down the fast paced action in Dominion tremendously.

How about ward mines that have a very small radius, only activates when stepped on and reveals a small area around it for a few seconds before disappearing.

The flag pole thing someone mentioned would be an interesting idea. Something like it provides no vision and is invisible until your team uses it once and then it's visible to be used by either team for 1 minute or some other time frame.

He's talking about items you can jump to using Lee Sin's Safeguard, Katarina Shunpo, Jax Leapstrike, etc.

Items that go away after 5 seconds, don't grant sight, but everyone has sight to them should do the trick. It also means if Lee Sin escapes a Jax, the Jax can follow.

the OP does not want wards. he just wants a unit that he can target and jump to.

I am against that because it devalues teemo and shaco among other reasons. Allies are in plentiful supply in dominion, so are minions. If you need extra then thats where the above 2 champions come into play, there does not need to be anything else. Having to depend on your allies for utility escapes encourages better play overall, through better positioning to allow the escapes or via picking champions with the utility to allow it.

Besides. Jax is broken enough as it is without giving him the ability to escape over walls at will. However, what I would like to see added is the ability to target towers you own with these abilities.
