Due us having 3 supports and a noob tryndamere from australia (I say this because Australians usually have horrible ping issues so you'll understand where I'm coming from) that wanted to go top lane and fed Shyvanna and Fiora early to level 9+.
I was having the hardest time holding top because of this and Fiora would ult me rather quickly.
on top of that I was playing against a smurfer with his level 30 friend trying to rush him to 30 as quickly as he could.
Well, We end up winning, and I know this guy is smurfing with his level 30 friend at top.
So they're spawning super minions. Me being a smart teemo, decides to stay in base and farm super minions for a ton of gold. The Twitch on our team we had was level 30 as well and helped us be the Yang to the opposing teams yin. For whatever these two normal mode pug stompers did, this level 30 twitch on our team did just as much if not more. So, I finally farm creeps up until level 17 and build my rab,nashors tooth, and get a couple of codexs. Then we turn the game around. and put pressure out. The smurfer rages and tells my entire team to report me. He also was taunting me earlier in game to go out in the open and fight him in the lanes that we had no turrets in, calling me a wuss and useless by fighting creeps in our base while i was low leveled.
My question is this : If I am fighting an uphill battle, lose a lane ....
did i do right by farming creeps in base while my team decided to push other lanes to get myself built up to 15+ ?? or could i have done something different.
