I'm sorry but shouldn't you be included in this statement? The real issue is that most of the people who post are either sucking up to the gaming company or people who think they are entitled to perks they aren't. Either way people think their opinions carry more weight than they do and the sensible players are drowned out by this noise. The reason why it takes so long to have improvements made for the community is because even when OPs are correct, there are detractors ruining the threads.

Also players seem to enjoy lying to themselves by thinking that the gaming companies #1 goal is making them happy. It's not. It's making profits. They will give as little away as they can to placate the population and maximize profits. Doesn't make the company bad, just how it is. We enjoy the games because they are fun, and customer satisfaction and profits are positively correlated. But don't delude yourself into thinking money isn't the driving force.

I wish more companies did this. I mean, just how much money do people really *need* these days? Most people would be grateful for $50k/year.
