this just ordered it after a week of comparative shopping. Just incredible for the price, 1920x1080 (once you look at that resolution on a 15 inch screen all the other laptops look like ****) incredibly powerful for 1200 dollars. And you get a free xbox if you are a student. Itll run league at max settings at at least 60 fps and every other game out there and mid-high settings. Just the best deal ever honestly.

you need to know that a Core i7 CPU isnt going to make any difference for LoL over a Celeron Duo if you dont have a dedicated GPU

If you want a laptop that will handle LoL you need to buy a latop with an Nvidia GT 630M or better
(Compliant Nvidia series cards GT 335, GT 460, GT 540, GT630 or better cards)
And 4GB of RAM.
LoL inst very powerful until you start ramping up shadow textures so you can max EVERYTHING but shadows on LoL and get above 60FPS on 72 cores(Stream Processers in the GPU)
Bascially youre looking at GeForce Nvidia chips which are nessessary to play LoL.

Side from that as long as the system ha a dedicated Graphics card(GPU) you can run LoL on a 1ghz Duo core CPU.
You can't get a laptop with AMD Radeon "M" cards?

I bought my laptop for a little under $400, it's not a god forsaken HP, and it plays LoL on v.high everything at 60+fps, i just turn off shadows because it does slow a little when there's a sht ton of stuff going on.

I sometimes run League on a stock 2010 HP Dv7 at about medium. I have shaders off though, as I am more concerned with function over appearance. Wouldn't take much to get that to high nowadays.

...Lol @ all the people in the thread telling OP to buy $1000+ laptop.

I use an Asus K53E. 673 bucks, runs it on all high at 60fps. Not Very high, mind you. And shadows are down.

Don't buy an Alienware, they're shoddy. Razer Blade will also be rather shoddy, although the thing is **** cool.

Stick with ASUS or Lenovo brands, they don't advertise much on their products and the installs are easy to clean up, and the build quality is good. Look for something with an i5 and at least 6 GB of ram if you want to max the game.

I would like to note that although I love my laptop, it needs a cooling pad for more than an hour of extended play, or it will cause lag. The wireless node is placed near the fan, which is a poor reason.

Pick up a good ASUS Republic of Gamer laptop from newegg.com

Or, if you're rich, grab a DRX from http://www.falcon-nw.com/laptops/drx
