With no hope of getting better Internet. I live out in the middle of nowhere. I literally have a pasture behind my house, a pasture to the left, a pasture to the right, and a huge forest in front. This really is the middle of nowhere and it's peaceful and quite just the way I like it. However, I've called multiple companies they will not come out and hook me up with a half decent connection. Now when I say bad Internet, I mean it disconnects maybe 2-3 times a day for about 15-20 minutes for each disconnect. Now if this happens in a game of LoL (Which it usually ****ing does) you're screwed. 15-20 minutes is INCREDIBLY long in this game and missing just one minute can spell the end of a game. It's almost pointless to reconnect and usually the game is over before I can log back in.

I'm not sure what to do anymore. I've called *****ed and complained to my current company but it doesn't help. I have so many Leaves on my account I have no idea how in the world I am not banned yet. This is not just miserable for me, I feel really sorry for my teammates who have to put up with this and waste time because of me. Check my match history if you want and you'll see the disconnects from today and yesterday. This is what I'm scared of, I've put well over a hundred bucks into this game (and MANY MANY hours) and I love it so much but I can feel a ban coming. All these ban threads you see on here make me nervous. So I guess I'm just going to quit before I put more money into this just to end up getting permabanned because my op connection.

Have you ever thought of getting hughesnet. Its a stalite internet company so it doesnt matter where you are you will always get internet. Its a alright price for moderate internet.

Personally i do not see why you would play LoL if you know you have a high chance of getting dc'd and then hindering a possible 4 people. If you want to play LoL, just play with bots in custom games.

In relation to satellite internet I would honestly not bother. I had that **** for two years and it is just terrible. You will NEVER get less than 1000 ping because the time it takes to transmit the signal be received by the satellite, re-transmitted by the satellite, be picked up on the ground by a dish that feeds in to the network, get to Riot servers and THEN come all the way back is at least a full second. If I where you I would look into wireless if a physical connection is out of the question. I live in Australia and have wireless with an antenna on my roof and my average ping is about 220-230, natural it can go much higher and even a bit lower (I had 192 for a whole night once) depending on how many people are using the network. Also if you live in America then your ping will naturally be much lower. Just my experience OP hope I helped.

TL; DR: avoid satellite

Satellite internet isn't good for gaming (or in general). Consider a 3G service like Sprint / Millenicom.
