The original name for the champion was 'xyra' which would obviously be pronounced 'zai-ra', which is the case.

- No one said that Zyra is an english name, and even so, names are pronounced differently in every country. In fact, "y" is pronounced "eee" in most languages, english would be an exception. For instance, "Leblanc" is a french name and the "c" is supposed to be silent, yet all american players say Leblank.

- So how do you pronounce shy ? "Shaï", ya ? And Shyvana ?
