I have been playing quite a lot of LoL recently and love it, but the main issue i have is that my ping is constantly 200 - 300+ which makes it quite hard to land skill shots, as well as jst having a dissadvantage due to the delay. I think that LoL should make a Oceana/Pacific server for NZ and AUS etc so that we can play without that lag. this would also encourage more people to play.

Also, are there not several people who play this in southeast Asia? Maybe putting a server in southeast Asia or, like, northwest Austrailia would be a good idea.

I'm an Australian resident and i've played LoL for 3 years, it actually pisses me off when some new kid runs into this game when hes only been playing for a month or two and demands an Aus Server, i would rather stay on NA and deal with the 200 ping because
A) 200 ping is nothing and we still have the same game speed as everybody else
B) We lose everybody, there would be nobody on our forums, game queues would take 10 minutes, i would have to create a new account, ect, ect

At the very most I'd ask for a SEA server, but as of current, I don't mind the setup. I don't mind my 230 ping that much, it's not too bad. I think my own ISP is more of a problem than the location of the server.

if you did your research - there is a SEA server

the thing is, the ping there is about the same as NA servers, but some people with the correct ISP will get 20-30 ping. for the rest, it's better to stick with NA because of the established community and simply that the servers will be much better maintained than an Aus server if ever there is one.

I play in Australia (as I have been doing for two years now) and my 170 ping is perfectly playable.

im australian and i get constantly 230ish ping, i never have a problem landing skill shots, if you cant land them, its not the ping, its cause you cant aim

Live in NZ 180 ping on NA is my best but this sucks considering that i dont want to play league casually im downright competitive and playing ranked becomes an issue. ive peaked at 1470 elo but mechanics of the game playing champs such as lee sin are impossible to do competitively and be awesome at due to the .2 milisecond delay which may not seem much but it is

An Australian server would be awesome, but seems unlikely in scheme of things. Still, I want to upvote your post in support of the spirit (of Australia, ha!*).
