I tend to play with a group of 3 to 4 friends and we're "eh..." to be quite honest. Still, we enjoy the game (mostly). What I thought might help us, though, was some teamwork rules, since that seems to be our weakpoint. Great as individuals, and very hit or miss as a team. In a team-based game, you may see why I think it's our weakpoint. Derp.

Ahem. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a 'Top Ten Rules/Tactics' list for what to do, or not do, in Dominion as a team. Or, if there isn't one out there, does anyone feel cool enough to put one together? Sauron's thread is amazingly informative, but a quicklist seems very useful for my needs.

I'll give it a shot, but I was hoping that those better than me could make a better one.

  1. Most, if not all, of your team should pick Revive.
  2. If the enemy is camping a node and you can't kick them off, go cap a different one.
  3. Gank bottom lane early, and gank bottom lane often.
  4. When you have 3 nodes, don't camp the nodes, camp in the fog of war.
  5. Do not trickle in 1 by 1 to a fight. Take a few seconds and wait for more teammates.
  6. Don't chase kills if you have 3 nodes.
  7. Don't suicide for a kill - not worth it unless it wins your team a node.
  8. Make sure your team has a tank, and preferably all champs have one form of CC.
  9. Don't be afraid to push lanes while waiting on a teammate or to help take a point. Creeps cap faster than champs, and can do it more safely.
  10. Communicate - Constantly.

Those may not even be good rules, and they're kind of generalized. Can anyone upgrade that top ten list?

At least one champion on your team should build a hextech sweeper.
If your team has an AD carry protect her.

Don't take stupid numbers of ignites/ghosts/other rubbish, exhaust is key for shutting down late game carries.

Don't show yourself if you don't need to.

Ignite can be useful vs some champions. Although I wouldn't suggest a whole team of ignites.

When ganking bot, don't show yourself until the trap is set. Going straight into the lane from base, or being seen in the little revealed area over the point both reduce your chances of a successful gank near 0.
Also, don't stay in lane with your bot pointlessly. If the gank failed, just go back top.

Ignite can be useful, but it's not hard to get 2-3 executioner's callings on a team.

-map awareness (simply counting how many people are dead/ mia/ just revived)
- knowing your limits for your champ (when to engage and back out)/ porting back and buying or even just healing is better than sitting around
-When engaging under an enemy point always always have 1 person capping/ holding
-Zoning.
-when losing or the game is really close, keep calm and dont panic.

Knowing when and how to base juggle can be difficult but a good team can pick it up without thinking about it. Voice chat can help in the begining but before long it becomes second nature.
