I feel like the way it's currently set up is a bit backwards. I feel that people who go AFK during the time where everyone pick their champions shouldn't be given a random champion, but instead kicked from the lobby and then locked out of games for whatever the period of time it would be for dodging.

I just dodged a game because of this and now I'm the one locked out of games for 30 minutes. It's a bit ridiculous when you have to choose losing elo points or being locked out of a game for 30 minutes. Please, PLEASE change this around so that the right people get punished.
