Thank you everyone for the views and responds. The more Riot sees the problem the more likely it is to get fixed. Bumb/respond with real details like computer specs to make this thread helpful. Not just a massive Complaint!
I, as well as many other people reported hard lag spikes and latency higher than normal since Even before the Mid July Patch. Tired of dragging a team down in PvP so I am stuck with bots hoping you guys will fix the problem. It is not my computer or internet. I play every other computer game just fine on high settings and never lag.
I really would like to get as many bump/comments together on 1 post rather than 400 posts a day of the same stuff for different people. Please bump this thread if its happening to you and post your problems. Post as much as you can about your computers specs. Some people are not encountering this problem the more we compare maybe we can understand what might be the issue. Before Riot makes 2 more characters while a decent amout of customers/players are having connection issues not stemming from their own ISP.
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6950 (Drivers Installed)
Internet Speed: Roadrunner Lightning (40MB/sec)
RAM: 6GB
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
Operating System: Windows Vista 64x Bit
Connection: Wireless 40MB (Wireless Router accepts all 40MB too)
I am running a Wireless Connection. I have lag spikes with my laptop as well. I am currently going to try and run a wireless, then wired connection on the Laptop to see whether or not lag spikes continue.
EDIT: Laptop had no lag spike. LOL I dont know what to do with these random unexplainable lag spikes.
Network Analysis: DNS Test says "Your ISP's DNS resolver follows CNAMEs regardless of their location, but only after having learned that this nameserver is valid for the other domain. This is very unusual"
