Why would a Mormon not have a gun? Sure we have the word of wisdom, where we don't drink or smoke etc. but we're not pacifists. In fact I know some people in my ward we have a couple of people who collect and hunt with guns all the time.

Oh and to sum it up since I have to have reasons in your eyes to have guns, I am a co-owner of a vehicle reposession company (most of our repos are in bad neighborhoods). I live out in the suburbs borderline country, a lot of wild life as well police response time out here is piss poor. I have tons of enemies from the repos I have done, as well from my ongoing custody case.

The mormons I've known are about the most dillusionaly cheerful, nicest people that I've met. They certainly seem like pacifists if you ask me.

I guess I thought people who put label something as benign as chocolate and soda pop as some sort of sin, wouldn't be the type to own/have guns.

Maybe, the situation would of been different if the Jews started fighting back when the Nazis first began to rise to power. Maybe organize and fight.
